RARE "Dior Trailer Trash" Christian Dior Spring / Summer 2001 Saddle Bag
From the Spring Summer 2001 Christian Dior by John Galliano collection, this bag is made out of ivory quilted micro-perforated leather with silver-tone hardware. It features a saddle silhouette with a top zip closure, a looping flat leather shoulder strap, 'car light' accents at corners, woven lining, single interior zip pocket, and a Dior plate imitating a license plate. The piece was inspired by creative director John Galliano's 1969 Cadillac incorporating license plate-like hardware and details. "1947" references the year of Galliano's first collection and "Avenue Montaigne" references as the famed street and location of Dior's boutique in Paris, France. *Some small scuffs and crazing/surface cracking on the pink pleather.
